Ever have one of those days?
A days where your business had technical issues with the web site losing your income, you had to redo several blog images to fix the techy problem all the while the kids are bickering and not wanting to finish their homeschool lessons and needing their papers graded, then when you finally go to lay down to have five minutes of peace the dog won’t stop barking at his imagination and the in-laws keep calling needing hubby to stop by after work. When hubby does get home, dinner isn’t ready for him because of having to answer yet another email, so while he waits, he tells you his car is going to need new tires soon, while your own truck is having a flat, and that annoying stress-induced eye twitch you thought stopped a few weeks ago, is back?

That was my day yesterday!

So needless to say amongst all of the hub bub I decided I needed a nice warm relaxing bath.. and lavender essential oil (affiliate link) … yes, that would work! Then I thought, “Oh a detox bath would be great!” Lord knows after my stress eating moment today (shhh) I would need something to get some of those toxins out as well. So I go back to research mode and I came up with my master plan! (insert evil genius laugh here 😉

First, kick hubby and kids outside to work in the garden! Then turn off all phones, computers, iPhones, and whatever else could ring of bing to distract you! Get your favorite candles for the ambience. I would suggest to turn on a diffuser with some “Bliss” or “Zen” going but at the moment I do not have one! (affiliate links) Turn on some soft music (to help drown out the yapping dog.) Fill your tub with  warm water and add:

2 cups Epsom Salt
1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 cup Baking Soda
5-10 drops of any (or a combo) of the following essential oils: (affiliate links included)

I use 5 drops each of lavender and ylang ylang because it is what I have on hand.

Detox Relax

Blessings to you,

Becky
