We own 3.5 acres where we grow a lush garden full of purple hull peas, peppers, tomatoes, beans, and other typical vegetables that we “can.” We raise miniature goats, bronze turkeys, and chickens mostly as pets along with our cats and dogs. I often use herbs and essential oils for medical remedies and homemade cleaning products.
