Last month the kids went to the rodeo! I am so happy when these two spend quality time together, bonding and making memories!

Bro/Sis Time!

May 1st

Anna is working hard at her job at the animal hospital, every day she comes home excited to tell about the things she has learned and weird or interesting things she sees. Every day is a new adventure and she is excelling at it, already has been given two raises and is just one test away from becoming a Certified Vet Tech!! I am so proud of this young lady!

May 10th

We went on a little hike at Boykin Spring and the Boy Scout Lake. Spring is such a beautiful time of year, if it would rain just a little less we could get out and enjoy it a little more!

As always my boy puts flowers he finds along the trail in my hair, “It’s a tradition!”

May 21st

Hubby stay busy in the garden growing yummy veggies for us! He always has some company!

I stay busy working on my Prison Ministry, writing letters to kids whose family has basically abandoned them once they messed up and got sent to prison. Everyone needs to know they matter to someone. #Hebrews13_3

Silly Biscuit sets in his water bowl after a vigorous game of fetch, he has to do something to beat the Texas heat! Of course, he has a kiddie pool beside the house but it is just too far away to walk to and plop in!

May 23rd

Anna loves her work family!

And loves every bit of her job, especially calf kisses!

May 29th

And we now officially have one more kid licensed to drive… well almost, he aced his written test and now has his learner’s permit! My last driver’s ed to teach!

May was filled with work and not a lot of play but such is life! Life seems to be settling back into a rhythm and with that, we will find more time to go do things together. One thing I know for sure is life has its ups and downs, you just learn to roll with it!
