We always enjoy projects in Science but I think the kids probably enjoyed this one more than most. It involved candy! In our book Exploring Creation Human Anatomy & Physiology we had to make a cell. We’ve drawing the cell all week but this one was edible!
I gathered up all the things I needed to make a cell. I kind of felt like a mad scientist in my kitchen! To make a cell it takes Lemon Jell-O, Knox Gelatin, and an assortment of candies.

We started studying the solar system in Astronomy this week. The project was to make a solar system out of balloons. Of course any time you drag out the balloons there is going to be a good time.
Adam tried to blow up a balloon extra big. He succeeded, he blew it up so big it popped!

Working in our Exploring Creation with Botany we had a project to “dissect” a flower.
At first we tried with small flowers. That was way to hard so we went to my moms and swiped a couple flowers from her to get some that was large enough to take apart accurately.
